Fourth Global Symposium on Health Systems Research
From 14-18 November, health system researchers, policy-makers, funders, implementers, civil society and other stakeholders from relevant national and regional associations and professional associations will gather in Vancouver, Canada for the biennial Global Symposium on Health Systems Research (HSR2016).
HSR2016 aims to push the boundaries of health systems research in addressing the challenges of our changing world. The theme for the Fourth Global Symposium is “Resilient and responsive health systems for a changing world”.
The programme will include plenary addresses from world experts, concurrent sessions made up from abstracts and other proposals, poster presentations, a marketplace and many other networking opportunities.
The WHO Service Delivery and Safety Department invites participants to the following organized sessions:
- Setting an agenda for scaling up integrated health services: the role of global health initiatives and donors
Monday 14 November, 12-14h - WHO Global Learning Laboratory fo Universal Health Coverage
Monday 14 November, 15-17h - Enhancing resilience in health systems by investing in high-performing primary health care
Tuesday 15 November, 13.30-17h
